Nyemo Bhonshod Bhusang was a Police medical officer. He was a Jokhang defender during Tibetan uprising. Escaped Tibet after the invasion and later trained at Camp Hale under CIA. He was dropped in Markham during their missions and fought to the last Bullet. Captured and imprisoned for 18 years by the CCP. He was released from prison in 1978 and in 1980 he went to India, where he served in the Department of Security of the Central Tibetan Administration from 1982 until his retirement in 2003.
