The king’s strategic marriage alliances played a crucial role in extending Tibetan influence. His marriages to Princess Bhrikuti of Nepal and Princess Wencheng of the Chinese Tang Dynasty strengthened diplomatic ties.
King Songtsen Gampo’s legacy continues to influence Tibetan culture, politics, and religion. His reign laid the foundation for the unique blend of Buddhism and traditional beliefs that define Tibet to this day.
