Yuthok Tashi Dhondup (1906-1983), also known as Yuthok Depon was one of the best military officers of Tibet. Yuthok Depon accompanied Dalai Lama to India in 1956-57 to attend Buddha Jayanti festival.

Following Chinese Invasion of Tibet, Yuthok Depon escaped to India in 1959 and later settled in Canada, where he passed away in 1983.
